Approval Workflow

Review and publish pages on your terms.

Last updated: May 2025

Overview

Every generated page enters an approval queue before it can be published. This is intentional — GrowDeck generates, humans approve.

You are always in control
No page is ever published without going through the approval queue first — unless you explicitly enable auto-approve for a site.

The approval queue

Navigate to Dashboard → Approvals to see all pending pages.

Each entry shows:

  • Page title and target keyword
  • Word count and section count
  • Which site it belongs to
  • Generation timestamp

Previewing a page

Click any approval entry to open the preview drawer. The preview shows:

  • Desktop and mobile toggle
  • Full rendered HTML (in an iframe)
  • Word count badge
  • Generated sections list

You can copy the raw HTML from the preview.

Approving a page

Click “Approve” to publish the page. GrowDeck will:

  1. Deploy the page to your site
  2. Add it to your sitemap.xml
  3. Update robots.txt if needed
  4. Send a Slack notification (if configured)

Rejecting a page

Click “Reject” to remove the page from the queue. The underlying opportunity is marked as skipped and will not be re-generated automatically.

Editing before approval

The current workflow requires approve or reject. Inline editing is on the roadmap. For now, if a page needs changes, reject it and regenerate with additional context from the opportunity settings.

Auto-approvePRO

Pro plan users can enable auto-approve per site in site settings. Use with caution — all generated pages will be published without review.

Auto-approve is irreversible per run
Once auto-approve is enabled and a generation job completes, pages are immediately deployed. Review your site's content quality settings before enabling.
